From 35mm slim profiles and Steel-Look systems to 47mm+ Heritage profiles and specialist performance systems, UGS Ltd can select the profile according to the required aesthetics, glazing and technical performance, while coordinating the door with the surrounding Crittall-style partition.
Slim Crittall-Style Aluminium 35mm Crittall-style aluminium profiles provide minimal sightlines and maximum glazing, creating a light and refined industrial appearance. They can be matched with corresponding 35mm partition profiles for a consistent door-and-screen design.
Steel-Look Aluminium profiles recreate the proportions and character of traditional steel Crittall Doors, while providing the versatility and low maintenance of aluminium. Matching door and partition profiles allow continuous grids and coordinated sightlines throughout the opening.
Heritage Aluminium provide increased glazing capacity while retaining the traditional steel-look aesthetic. They are suited to projects requiring thicker or more specialised glazing specifications.
Specialised Fire-Rated Systems: Where enhanced performance is required, UGS Ltd can specify more substantial aluminium door systems capable of meeting security requirements, subject to the selected complete doorset specification.
For projects requiring fire resistance, dedicated profiles can be integrated with fire-rated glazing, appropriate hardware, seals and other tested components to form a compliant fire-resistant doorset. Fire performance is determined by the certification and classification of the complete system, not the profile or glass alone.
Sliding Profiles – COR Vision
Sliding Internal Crittall Doors use dedicated minimalist sliding profiles, including Cortizo COR Vision systems. For example, COR Vision Plus uses a 180mm frame section and 69mm sash section and accommodates glazing up to 56mm.
These systems can be integrated into a wall opening or incorporated into a larger Crittall-style internal wall, maintaining the slim, highly glazed appearance of the overall project.
Glazing Options
Glazing can also be selected according to the required appearance, privacy and performance.
Options may include clear glass, patterned or textured glass, obscured glazing, acoustic glass and specialist safety glazing, subject to the selected system and project specification.
This flexibility allows Internal Crittall Doors to provide different levels of transparency and privacy while maintaining their characteristic glazed appearance.
